Several cones have been abandoned

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7938368.

At least 3 cones have been abandoned in the central reservation of the A52 near to the junction with Grantham Road in Bingham, Nottinghamshire. When driving on the A52 yesterday I noticed that one of these cones had been blown by the wind onto the road. I stopped and removed the obstruction. Please arrange for the cones to be collected as soon as possible to reduce the risk of an accident.

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways regarding the redundant traffic management equipment. We will arrange for one of our local inspectors to investigate this. Where we have identified redundant equipment, this will be removed. However, in some cases we do leave items in place for future use.
