Graffiti on bridge support

Reported via desktop in the Graffiti (NH) category anonymously at 18:56, Fri 25 July 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7933725.

Thorley Lane Bridge crossing M56 which was recently replaced at some point between 2012 and 2015 has sadly been the victim of tagging and graffiti from imbeciles calling themselves MACA, SFL and TELE. Please find and prosecute these brain deads who are destroying our community.

On the other bridge support end "Stop the boats" has been vandilised onto the concrete wall.

Please apply dissolver and jet wash off.

Thank you.

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways about graffiti.

We aim to remove or cover offensive graffiti within 24 hours of our inspection.

Non-offensive graffiti is dealt with under planned cyclical works and therefore can take longer to remove.

We will arrange for our local inspector to look at this on his regular safety inspection of this route and they will arrange a suitable solution.

National Highways does not have enforcement powers. Any prosecutions are the responsibility of the police. Kind regards

    National Highways
