First reported in November 2024 although this report is now closed I note that this current report was opened in July 2025. This area of pavement is dangerous and not fit for purpose where the grass and vegetation has encroached so far onto the tarmac it is simply to narrow to walk on and not at all possible if you were a parent with small children or a pushchair or stroller. The full length of the pavement needs to be cleared to expose the full width of the and make it usable. Given this makes up part of a circular PROW and is used by many people for recreation, walking, running and exploring the village it needs to be safe which currently it is not. It is adjacent to the A36 which as you are aware is part of the SRN and therefore should be fit for purpose. This needs to have some immediate action taken to clear and render it safer for all users. Currently the only option in places is to stop into the road!
