Uneven surface on southbound side of carriageway

The road surface near the kerb on the southbound side of the carriageway is very uneven, with significant bumps in the road surface. It looks like the surface has been treated relatively recently, but has deteriorated again. Given extensive HGV traffic on this route, I'm concerned it could become dangerous, especially overnight.
