50 sign over one lane of M3

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7897297.

50 sign over one lane of the M3 heading from Jct3 - Jct2 (toward London). Only one set of signs and only on one lane. At 09:45 today. Saw the same last week on Sunday and reported it then too.

  • Thank you for taking the time to continue to report this issue to us. I can confirm there’s a technology fault on both sides of the carriageway just before junction 3. Engineers are aware of the issue and are working to fix the problem.

    Reduced speeds are set in these circumstances as part of our mitigations and standard procedure to help manage situations effectively. The 50mph speed restrictions will be removed once repairs are complete and it’s deemed safe to do so. We understand these faults may cause some frustration and confusion for drivers, and for this we apologise.
