Severely Overgrown vegetation on the East and West slip roads

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown or obscuring view (NH) category anonymously at 10:31, Thu 17 July 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7891032.

The vegetation down the east and west bound slip roads is severely overgrown, and as in a previous report, has been for a very long time. On the slip from the Westbound heading to Stoke sub Hamdon and Martock, the bushes stretch out onto the road by as much as 5ft in most parts. The east bound slip is also extensively overgrown. Vehicles have to go out close to the double white lines. THERE IS NOW AN INCREASED RISK OF A COLLISION on both slip roads. This issues has had previous reports. It is a very simple and quick issue to resolve. A close scrutiny will now be placed on the progress of Highways to resolve the report. The slips have been photographed as evidence.
