Loads of dumped road work equipment

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7883077.

Next to the 50mph sign on the A1 Southbound. Loads of disused road work equipment, Mostly sand bags, empty frames and sign frames. Absolutely disgraceful the constant flytipping/littering by your TM workers throughout the country. Get this mess cleared up immediately. I've also reported it to the environmental agency and council as flytipping

    We will arrange for one of our local inspectors to investigate this. Where we identify redundant equipment, this will be removed.

    PLEASE NOTE: Carriageway resurfacing work is planned for the 16th to 24th July 2025 at this location.
