This road M23 is one of the worst Motorways in England. There is only one entrance, if you are coming from Couldson, and only one exit, if you are going to Coulsdon. If you are coming from Redhill, you need to do a U-turn to be able to go to that exit, and if you leave the M23 and want to go to Redhill, it's the same. A U-turn. Thousands of card do that U-turn every day, and it creates so much traffic. The complaint is that they got so much empty space on the end of the M23 that they should be able to fix that.

At the point of southbound traffic having to decide between A23 to Redhill (right fork) and M23 / M25 (left fork), the painted directions on the road only mentions M25 for the left fork (not M23) - WHY?? I was thrown by this recently when trying to get on to the M23 southbound: I saw it said M25, which I didn't want, so took the right fork i.e. the wrong direction. I had looked at the sign but the paint on the road still panicked me into the wrong decision. This meant I had to dangerously re-route with a u-turn in busy traffic. PLEASE ADD M23 TO THE ROAD PAINT!!
