Uneven surface and potholes forming

I reported this to you several months ago, and the problems have not been rectified. They are worse now than when I first reported them, but National Highways have chosen not to repair them. This results in residents being woken throughout the night by empty HGVs bouncing on the uneven road surface - as has just happened to me. I went to bed early - I need to get some sleep. Five minutes ago I was woken by the extremely loud noise created by an empty artic trailer being pulled over the terrible road surface. Sooner or later something is going to happen - a cyclist or motorcyclist is going to be brought down by the holes and defects in the road surface, and when this happens I will be the first one to tell the injured party's solicitor and/or the police about my reporting the problem to NH several months ago.

Thank you for making your report. We have asked our inspection team to attend this location and assess the issue.
If any work is needed, they will arrange for this to happen. Should no immediate work be required we will continue to monitor this during our regular inspections.
Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
