Overgrown trees and shrubbery along Greengate, Moston Manchester M40

Reported via mobile in the Overgrown or obscuring view (NH) category by Mr. G. Malhotra at 07:23, Sat 12 July 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7865008.

The embankment runs along Greengate and the fence line of North Manchester Rugby Club. During matches we continually find that our match balls are lost in the overgrown area and the match balls are expensive to replace. We are not able to gain access and retrieve our balls because of the nature and severity of the overgrown area. We would be extremely grateful if the area could be cleared and therefore made accessible for us to retrieve our rugby balls. Thank you.

If any work is needed, they will arrange for this to happen. Should no immediate work be required we will continue to monitor this during our regular inspections.
