All drains are blocked heavily with silt and debris on M1

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7860861.

All the recessed surface water drains are extremely heavily blocked by unswept debris and detritus. The drain channel blocks have huge weeds and vegetation growing from them. No chance of proper surface water clearing in heavy rain. Clean the drains and sweep the roads..

  • Please find an update on planned actions below. We are pleased to confirm our team have completed their investigation and have advised we will replace the damaged section of combined drainage and kerb blocks in area reported. This is planned to be completed by the end of September. Kind regards National Highways
