Tarmac breaking up

Reported via desktop in the Pavement/footpath/cycleway/bridleway issue (NH) category anonymously at 21:17, Wed 9 July 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7835822.

Between firle and the drusillas roundabout the cycle path is cracking up badly. It is such a wonderful resource it seems such a shame to see it go to the dogs. There were many strip repais made earlier in the year , most of which have cracked up again (ask for a repair of the repair under warranty. Plusrs there are numerous other places all along the cyclepath that have long and large cracks developing. It seems much worse on this streach of the cyclepath that uses edging stones as opposed to the white line on the Polgate end. Could this be due to the concrete that the edging stines were set in moving in the heat as the cracts seem to ALL be about 20cm into the path on both sides. Could some one check the whole path please.
