Tramlines / uneven surface

Reported via mobile in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 17:48, Sun 6 July 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7817174.

A14 in this area particularly going westbound for several miles has significantly deteriorated road surface (tramlines) causing unpredictable handling. When changing lanes in a rear wheel drive car I have felt the steering being tugged in the opposite direction and on one occasion started to lose the back end at 70mph. Have since taken to driving around 50-60 in worst affect areas and avoid lanes changes as a result. Please investigate before someone loses control.
