Why has it taken 5 hrs of hardly moving along the A421 passed Toxton towards the Black Cat Roundabout today to find traffic lights at the roundabout.

The traffic lights appeared to be working but why has it taken 5 hours of sitting in congestion on the A421 today to get to the Blue Cat Roundabout. There must be a fundamental problem with the tragic lights there to cause such a long delay. You reported late afternoon "congestion" with a delay of 1 -1and half hours. IT TOOK US 5 HOURS!!!! to get to the roundabout. Realise there are major road works going on at the roundabout, which have been going on for months now, but never had this length of delay before. If delays are going to be this long then the road should temporarily be shut to avoid such nconvenience.
