Poor Visibilty - uncut verges

Reported via iOS in the Overgrown or obscuring view (NH) category by Paul Davey-Turner at 06:46, Friday 4 July 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7806752.

Moderated by an administrator at 06:46, Friday 4 July 2025

The grass has not been cut very well, only in some places. Long grass is impairing visibility when turning from Tews End Lane onto the A5, making this a very dangerous junction.

Please can this be cut ASAP.

Updates

  • The grass remains UN-CUT, so if you drive a white van it’s safe, but if you drive a smaller car like a Ford Fiesta you have to creep out in to the path of the on- coming traffic to see if the A5 is clear and safe to turn right towards MK.

    Thank you. Paul Davey-Turner

  • The poor visibility remains, the opposite side of the road the verges have been cut.
