Redundant road work equipment

Reported via mobile in the Abandoned Materials (NH) category anonymously at 15:35, Thursday 3 July 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7804649.

Yet again, another abandoned A-frame chucked on the grass verge, with the metal sign dumped next to it. More fly-tipping from your disgracefully lazy, couldn’t-care-less roadwork traffic management contractors, most likely Martins, Chevron, or Ringway.

Sort this crap out. Tell your useless contractors to stop treating public roads like a landfill. It’s a disgrace.

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways regarding the redundant traffic management equipment.

We will arrange for one of our local inspectors to investigate this. Where we identify redundant equipment, this will be removed.

Please Note: There are ongoing works at this location throughout July 2025 for barrier repairs and replacement.

    Kind regards National Highways
