Ridges across road going south. Are loads.

Reported via mobile in the Road surface (NH) category by William Cranston at 21:45, Thu 26 June 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7771015.

Load mounds across road where tarmac has risen. Drivers swing to different lanes dangerously trying to avoid the parts of road that are on flat due to the rising mounds of tarmac where road has bulged. Can you sort this please it's been going on for years and you still haven't fixed it

Updates

  • Thank you for making your report. We have a scheme M181 Ride Quality Pavement due to be constructed in September, the scope of which will rectify the raised profiles along the route

Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.

    Kind regards
