Ridges across road on m181 before west bound m180 entrance road.

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7770995.

Very dangerous ridges across the road just before the left turn on to m180. Causes motorists to slam on brakes. I witnessed someone nearly go on the back of someone today due to continued ridges that caused a driver to slam brakes on.

When will you fix this please these have been here for years.

  • Thank you for making your report. We have a scheme M181 Ride Quality Pavement due to be constructed in September, the scope of which will rectify the raised profiles along the route

    Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
