At the junction of A36 and B 3083 a banner has been attached to two poles supporting the chevrons indicating the sharp bend. This is on the grass triangle between the two roads.the banner advertises an event August 8 to 10 at the" Stonehenge campsite which is half a mile north of Berwick St James run by Fox-Grant estate agent. The placement of this banner on Highways estate to my mind is at least reckless and potentially dangerous as it will distract attention of drivers .

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways about flyposting.

We have passed this to one of our local inspectors to confirm that this is on our property. If it is, we will then either contact the company concerned and ask them to remove their material from our property or remove this ourselves.

    Kind regards
