M1 South J20-19 faulty electronic sign

Reported via mobile in the Electronic Sign (NH) category anonymously at 17:18, Monday 23 June 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7751732.

(Originally reported 25/8/24 ref 6395563)

On the M1 southbound between junctions 20 and 19, the 3 line electronic sign is partly faulty. The sign is located just before marker post 134.4 and is marked 3344B.

At the time of originally reporting, a warning for diverted traffic for London was displayed. There were flashing lights being used, however the flashing lights at the top and bottom of the sign were flickering on and off intermittently and was causing somewhat of a distraction, rather than just flashing alternately normally.
