Giant hogweed in central reservation and on side of road

Reported via mobile in the Overgrown or obscuring view (NH) category anonymously at 11:01, Saturday 21 June 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7742482.

Giant hogweed is a notifiable weed which can cause severe phytosensitive burns. There are several plants currently flowering in the central reservation and one between the /// and // marker going northbound fron the a2 bridge over Patrixbourne road and the off slip for the a 2050. These should be dealt with before they ho to seed and with caution by contactor. I see the road is closing overnight 26/6/25 perhaps it can be dealt with them
