Updates

  • Thank you for your report regarding the faded road markings.

A ‘No Road Marking’ sign warning sign is installed, and we have a road marking refreshment scheme in our forward programme for delivery in 2026/27, subject to funding approval. In the meantime, the location is inspected during our weekly safety inspections of the A27 when any safety defects are raised for urgent mitigation. The ‘Give Way’ sign is in good condition and clearly visible.

The A27 is due to go through the national LED upgrade scheme in the next financial year, which will see all lanterns replaced and any other faults found highlighted for rectification. The Crossbush area has a power fault from the feeder pillar, for which we have secured funding to address, though no timescale is currently available.

    Kind regards
