Car exhaust between j2-j1 northbound on M5
Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7719012.
I was driving northbound M5 between J2-J1 on the bridge in the middle lane and a whole exhaust pipe rolled across the carriageway and into my passenger side front wheel I did pull over and the last I saw of it, it had come off into the hard shoulder, it was not safe for me to remove from the hard shoulder as I already felt very vulnerable the hard shoulder was not very wide and it was quite a way away from my vehicle. I’m concerned it will do the same to someone else and potentially cause an accident I am very lucky I did not crash at the time I don’t think someone else would be so lucky
