Trees growing in central resevation

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown or obscuring view (NH) category anonymously at 10:36, Friday 13 June 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7704083.

Approx. 2 miles from J8 M11 on Northbound carriageway 2 trees have started to self set between the barriers. They are currently about 2m high and will, if not treated, create serious long term issues as they continue to grow. Removing them now will be a relatively simple and cost effective solution but, if left, they will cause both safety and visibility issues and their removal will be significantly more costly and disruptive.

  • Thank you for making your report. We have asked our inspection team to attend this location and assess the issue.

If any work is needed, they will arrange for this to happen.
