Access to M50

Reported via desktop in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 20:12, Monday 9 June 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7684861.

On many junctions like this one there are solid white lines allowing traffic to turn left without entering the roundabout and having to stop/give way. Most traffic coming off the M5 Northbound at Junction 8 is turning left onto the M50. A separate turning lane here would speed up traffic flow and make it safer. Vehicles coming around the roundabout could still enter the M50 in the second lane and merge in after the junction. This feature is common on many roundabouts where a lot of traffic is turning left. I think that traffic flow and safety would improve.
