I am writing to report an incident that occurred on the M4 at Junction 14 while I was driving towards the airport. I was travelling within the speed limit when a deer suddenly ran out in front of my car. It happened so quickly that I had no time to react or avoid the collision. Unfortunately, the deer died instantly upon impact. As a result, my vehicle was significantly damaged: the radiator was bent, the bonnet was dented, and parts of the front bumper (plastic components) were broken. A fluid also started leaking from the radiator area, which made me fear that the vehicle was no longer safe to drive. Due to this, I was unable to continue my journey and missed my flight. This incident caused me both financial loss and a great deal of stress. I would like to formally raise a complaint and ask that you investigate this section of road, as there was no fencing, or any form of protection to prevent wildlife from entering the motorway. I believe more could be done to prevent such dangerous situations. Thank you for your attention, and I look forward to your response.
