Signage, overgrown on roundabout and road markings

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown or obscuring view (NH) category anonymously at 20:48, Sun 8 June 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7679199.

*** These issues have been reported by Parish Council previously and have been going on for some time. This is NOT a new problem but a request to rectify older ignored issues. ***

On the A46 southbound carriageway before Skellingthorpe roundabout. The main signage showing Skellingthorpe (turn right) is not visible due to overgrowth and low placement of the sign. There is no signage to show the carriageway goes from dual to single after the roundabout. The road markings on the dual part show left lane to turn left and straight on, right lane for straight only, even though you can turn right into Skellingthorpe village. These require changing.

There is a sharp merge directly off this roundabout merging the dual into single carriageway. This is invisible due to the overgrown state of the roundabout. The roundabout needs clearing of all shrubbery, trim back of trees, and collection of cones, debris and rubbish left by years of neglect.
