Bridge expansion joint cover lifting

Reported via desktop in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 10:16, Fri 6 June 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7670130.

On the Breydon Bridge fixed spans there is an expansion joint cover which lifts up and drops back down as each car passes over it - I've seen this a number of times now and it could become a hazard for motorcycles.

It's on the southbound lane, and it is approximately the 2nd or 3rd expansion joint along from the Vauxhall roundabout. The cover plate is about a width of a car.
