Slip lane too short

This slip road is too short. There is barely 20 metres off the carriageway and then a 90 degree bend that can only be safely negotiated at low speed. To do this, you need to start slowing down on the main carriageway, something a lot of other drivers have no patience for or are not expecting if they do not know the junction. There is a danger of being rear-ended if people are following too close or do not see you slowing down until too late. There has been a lot of noise recently about a junction in Newbury being worked on as slip lanes are too short. Bordon is growing fast with more and more vehicles needing to use the slips. Please consider making these longer. Reducing the speed limit on the main carriageway will not work as no one will slow down.
