Gully on slip road is full of silt and overgrown vegetation

Reported via desktop in the Flooding/drainage (NH) category anonymously at 15:34, Thursday 29 May 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7633985.

Gully on junction 5 Slip rd towards Wigan M58 has silted up and overgrown vegetation is found overhanging gully near motorway this in turn causes a heavy pool of water to collect at the entrance to the slip road at Stannanought rd I have seen at least 2 accidents which have happened at this point in which the police have attended and have had to block off the water runs down the gully or rd surface because the drains are blocked and silted causing a pool of water to collect this is the second time that I have raised this problem and I would like to escalate this case my previous report said no action taken and clearly it does.
