Lack of signage/sign not early enough

Reported via mobile in the Sign Obscured (NH) category anonymously at 18:01, Wednesday 28 May 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7629621.

Sorry I was not sure where the right place was for this. I have driven this way a lot and often think the same thing. The sigh for the junction is too late. People are driving 70mph and come round the corner very fast. They don’t realise you have to get in the right hand lane if you are going West on the A27 (through Arundel). This is a very dangerous issue. People either brake quickly and try and get into the right lane. Or they don’t in time and then have to drive down the left hand lane and try and get into the right lane. This then slows the right lane down and creates a lot of dangerous driving with people trying to push in while people going left get angry because they can’t get through.
