B1043/A14 bridge between Offords and Godmanchester

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7619974.

Either side of the bridge flyover has sunk into a steep drop, it’s been this way for months and only getting deeper

Reported originally on the Cambs Council website, they closed report stating this road was managed by Highways England.

  • Thank you for making your report. Upon further investigation it has been established that the Local Authority are responsible for the maintenance of the B1043 to include the roadway either side of the bridge.

    The bridge itself is a asset of National Highways and as such is maintained by us. Please contact the local authority to resolve this issue ensuring they are aware that the issue is with the B1043 and not the A14.
