No Entry signs have been placed on the A2050 which are blocking visibility when at the stop line at the bottom of Wingate Hill and trying to turn left on to the A2050 towards Canterbury.

Reported via mobile in the Sign Obscured (NH) category anonymously at 15:49, Thursday 22 May 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7606037.

Temporary No Entry signs have been placed on the A2050 which are blocking visibility for drivers at the bottom of Wingate Hill and trying to turn left on to the A2050 towards Canterbury. Traffic travels very fast on this stretch of road and these temporary signs mean drivers have to edge out into fast oncoming traffic that comes from round a bend to see if it’s safe to leave Wingate Hill and join the A2050. There have been numerous accidents at this location, two fatalities in the last 5years.
