30 min delays from Hawkhurst to Flimwell

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7598368.

Please can someone correct the syncing of the traffic lights at Flimwell during rush hour. It is currently 8.45am and the queues are taking at least 30 mins to reach the traffic lights. They are also extremely slow in the afternoon rush hour around 5pm.

  • The queues are getting worse daily. Today’s queue is 40 mins. Please please correct the sequencing during rush hour.

    If any work is needed, they will arrange for this to happen. Should no immediate work be required we will continue to monitor this during our regular inspections.

    Although we always aim to complete repairs as quickly as possible, timescales do vary as we try to minimise disruption to customers by combining activities into single closures and always ensuring the safety of our people.
