Grass/vegetation growth obscuring the view of southbound traffic

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown or obscuring view (NH) category anonymously at 20:07, Tue 20 May 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7597211.

When waiting to either enter the A1 southbound carriageway of to cross over the A1 to go northbound, the grass on the southbound verge, to the north of the A1 South/Deanmoor road dangerously obscures the view the waiting traffic haas of southbound traffic on the A1. The grass cutting team have been there recently but have not gone far enough towards the north nor back as far as the hedge this time with the cutting, so visibility up the road remains dangerous. Immediately up the road of this location the land drops away so unless the verge is cut far enough up towards the north and back to the hedge then you cannot see vehicles coming down the road at 70/80mph.
