Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7567369.

The lane markings have changed approaching junction 7 M56/A556 between airport and Dunham. The original markings are still visible and it makes it confusing for drivers. I travelled from Stockport to Warrington yesterday evening and the low sun was shining on the road surface, several drivers were veering in the lanes as both sets of markings are visible in these conditions. Please redefine the new lane marking or completely erase the old lane markings.
