A36 into Bath at Bathampton around St George's Hill.

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown or obscuring view (NH) category anonymously at 09:39, Wed 14 May 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7567118.

On the A36 at Bathampton on the side going into Bath, there is narrowing of the road by up to half a metre. Firstly from the bus stop at St George's Hill for about 65 metres. Secondly after St George's Hill to a black and white Tudor style house for about 70 metres. The problem is a combination of material on the road surface, in places covering the double yellow lines, and vegetation growing over the road from the bank. The narrowing is sufficient so that lorries move towards the middle of the road. Previous clearing of the first section was carried out with good effect but the second section was not cleared and is now the worse of the two. Please could both sections be cleared.
