No maintenance of existing french / cut off drain

Reported via desktop in the Flooding/drainage (NH) category anonymously at 11:36, Friday 9 May 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7544829.

The slip road at this location has a french / cut off drain located within the National Highway land, This was installed to take away ponding on third party land to the west when the M32 was constructed. See S Glouces records: https://bcc.maps.arcgis.com/ apps/ mapviewer/ index.html?webmap=ada238ed59b04d839dc84eceb57db470 During moderate rainfall ponding occurs to the east on private land as the french / cut off drains have never been maintained or cleaned out since they were constructed over 50 years ago

Updates

  • Should read "land to the east when the M32" etc
