Vegetation Growth blocking view

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown or obscuring view (NH) category by Marta de Cáceres at 15:46, Thursday 8 May 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7540845.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I thought I would bring to your attention that the vegetation in the middle of the A120 is quite overgrown at the moment making it difficult to see the oncoming cars, especially on the junction from the side of the road towards Surrex across into Colchester Road, Coggeshall.

I use this junction daily, and have noticed it for the past two weeks. This is understandable as with the arrival of Spring the vegetation has been growing quite quickly, but today I could only see the very top of oncoming cars and had to pull my car out quite a bit to make sure it was safe to cross - which in itself is not very safe.

I noticed hedges around the area are being trimmed, so perhaps this is already on the list of to-do's but I thought I'd flag anyway.

Thank you so much in advance for your availability.

Kind regards, Marta de Cáceres
