Abandoned road work equipment all over the road network. An issue ongoing for many years and only getting worse. Why do you continue to do absolutely nothing about this nationwide embarrassment? Why do you continue to give contracts to the same traffic management companies responsible for leaving this mess everywhere?

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways regarding the redundant traffic management equipment. We will arrange for one of our local inspectors to investigate this. Where we have identified redundant equipment, this will be removed. However, in some cases we do leave items in place for future use. Some isolated cones may also be in place for a specific purpose that may not be clear to passing vehicles. Kind regards National Highways
