Two potholes on the apex of the bend

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7500652.

There are two potholes that sit just on the apex of the bend as you travel down the hill towards Rye.

Given the angle they could cut a car tyre but could destabalise a motorcycle.

    Our team visited this location on 1 May 2025. Whilst we located some shallow potholes, no emergency safety defects were identified.

    As we're expecting a scheme to resurface sections of the A259 at this location within the coming financial year, no further action is required currently

    In the meantime, we will continue to monitor the area during our regular inspections. Should any safety defects arise, then we’ll arrange the necessary remedial work if required.
