Large shallow pothole in lane 2 at M/P 39/5 on northbound carriageway

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7478974.

Pothole is spread over most of lane 2, could be dangerous for motorbikes.

    I can confirm we're aware of surfacing defects in this location. Our teams are meeting tomorrow to discuss how and when to start permanent fixes.

    In the meantime, we'll continue to monitor the area and our inspectors will raise any safety critical defects for a reactive repair.
