County boundary sign missing

Reported via iOS in the Damage to Sign (NH) category anonymously at 21:00, Sunday 20 April 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7458560.

On the M3 southbound at J4 there used to be a big, rather old-fashioned county boundary sign announcing that you were entering Hampshire (as per Google Street View image attached). This has been missing for many years, and it’s a shame. Perhaps National Highways and Hampshire CC could have a whip-round for a replacement.

Updates

  • Thank you for submitting this report.

We're aware of the missing sign and the sign face design is currently with Hampshire County Council (HCC) for approval. Once HCC is happy with it, we will progress with the post and foundation design.

Thank you for your patience while we work on replacing this sign.

    Kind regards National Highways
