Fencing collapsed at bottom of embankment

Reported via desktop in the Structures (eg bridges, fencing, noise barriers) (NH) category anonymously at 16:05, Wed 16 April 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7444917.

The fencing at the bottom of the embankment adjoining the public space/green adjacent to the bridge over A20. Failure to carry out any arborial management the has led to between 20-30 metres of collapsed fencing and trees are encroaching into the public park area. This could lead to children accessing the embankment . Also there is a section of fencing missing on the opposite side of the A20 allowing access to the gate in the acoustic barrier. These are dangers to the public and should be attended to urgently. These issues have been present for some years
