Updates

  • Thank you for contacting National Highways about graffiti.

We aim to remove or cover offensive graffiti within 24 hours of our inspection. Non-offensive graffiti is dealt with under planned cyclical works and therefore can take longer to remove.

We will arrange for our local inspector to look at this on his regular safety inspection of this route and they will arrange a suitable solution.

It appears that the issue you are reporting has been reported already.

The Fix-my-Street platform is purely a reporting tool for defects. If you wish to make a complaint:

Please use this link to send your complaint info@nationalhighways.co.uk Our Customer Contact Centre will then be able to direct your complaint to the team most suited to assist you.
Please Note: We would also like to highlight that any attempt to remove or alter highway structures, including bricks or bridges, could be considered criminal damage and pose serious safety risks. We strongly advise against taking any such action and ask that you allow us to resolve this through the appropriate channels.

    Kind regards National Highways
