There has been a reduced speed limit on this stretch for over a month and NO ONE is even trying to reduce their speed through this section.

Thank you for making your report. I appreciate your concerns and frustrations with the speed restrictions, please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this has caused you. It’s never our intention to inconvenience road users on our network unnecessarily.
Whilst we understand the frustration and impact poor driver behaviour can have on other road users, we don’t have any enforcement powers to stop drivers that you mention ignoring the temporary speed limits in place. Any enforcement to tackle driver behaviour is conducted by the local police and you can report this calling 101.
On the A27 in this area, a temporary speed limit has been installed until repairs to the damaged parapet can be completed. The reduction in speed is to avoid any further accidents involving the public or any more damage to the parapet. We’re looking to complete a permanent repair at the earliest opportunity.
Safety is our priority and in cases where we cannot do an immediate and permanent repair, we have to ensure that measures such as speed restrictions are put in place until we can.
Kind regards National Highways

I drive through this section on a daily basis and I don't see anyone driving to the 50 and 40 mph limits in force. This is probably due to the length of time the Temp limit has been in place. Before I approach the police, Is there still a temporary speed limit order still in force for this stretch?

Could you put a sign up explaining why the speed limits are there? Everyone just thinks the signs have been forgotten about and abandoned and therefore no one is slowing down and those of us that do are subjected to tailgating, aggression and general road rage behaviour. Putting a notice explaining that the signs have not been forgotten and are there for a reason might help everyone to understand and also stop those who don't want to obey the limits from being harassed and abused for choosing to be safe.
