Memorials on the bridge following a death by suicide

Updates

  • Thank you for your report of the memorials attached to the bridge.

    We've reviewed the location and our inspector is happy that the memorial flowers are securely attached to the parapets and pose no risk to traffic.

    There are no plans to remove at this time, though if the local authority wishes to treat the memorials as litter, it will be their responsibility to remove.
