Actual potholes & humps

Reported via desktop in the Road surface (NH) category by Mr DAVID MEACOCK at 01:26, Sat 5 April 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7390946.

On the Carriage way as you drive from Jct 16 to Jct 17.

The worst hump which I reported has been recently fixed, but there are still other unacceptably severe unevenness's. I have even notice actual potholes which in 40 years of driving I've not seen on motorways previously: no wonder I've also seen a number of cars with flat tyres. These problems need to be fixed urgently.

Updates

  • One problem has been improved, but the surface is uneven - sometimes feeling like hitting a speed bump at speed. There are now even potholes which in 40 years of driving I've not previously seen on motorways. Shoddy maintenance is being polite.

    Still open, via questionnaire

  • Still there. A ridge across the whole carriageway mades the car jump. Not good for tyres or suspension. Been like this for months.
