Slip roads and verges A1M Doncaster Bypass. Use Brodsworth Junction as a guide. This report follows a report made earlier when the Maintenance Company wrote to you promising to clear the littered motorway in March. Not undertaken as promised. This Company continually fob off Highways England and at this time of year in particular wait for the grass to grow and cover litter deposits

    We last carried out a litter pick on the mainline between junctions 37 and 38 in July 2024.

    Litter pick information for slip roads can be found below:
    • J37 northbound exit slip was last litter picked on 22 March 2025.
    • J37 northbound entry slip is due by 12 April.
    • J37 southbound exit slip is due by 9 April.
    • J37 southbound entry slip is due by 12 April.
    • J38 northbound exit slip up to A638 (Doncaster LA) is due by 1 July .
    • J38 southbound entry slip is also due by 1 July.

    Littering by people is, unfortunately, a behaviour that has a big impact on some parts of our roads. We aim to keep our roads as tidy and free of litter as we can. Our litter picking is carefully planned to try to minimise the impact it has on road users and the safety of our people.
