Something became dislodged on the road and hit my windscreen

Reported via mobile in the Road surface (NH) category anonymously at 21:33, Tue 1 April 2025

Sent to National Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7373280.

I was driving past meadowhall heading north at j34 and a large rock flew into my windscreen creating a large crack in the bottom of it. This now needs replacing, it was unclear where it had come from but it was travelling at speed, presumably it dropped off the bridge or has been kicked up from the side of the motorway, luckily i didn’t react or slow down which could have potentially caused a further accident but one to be aware of.
